Culture represents who you are and where you came from. The family that i live with is all Italian and my dads family is German and English. My italian family is very loud and they like to have really big parties. In my culture we celebrate many holidays that others don't like palm sunday and we eat dinner early every sunday of the week. Culture is important to me and my family because our culture passes down traditions throughout the family and represents who my family is.

To me, culture is the certain way of living for a specific group of people. I believe culture has a lot of influence on people. Culture is who you are, everyone on this planet has a culture. My family pretty much follows the usual popular culture (Typical American culture). We celebrate the usual holidays and celebrations, we don't have shrines or cultural attire, just the typical American style, and there's nothing wrong with that. We don't have a special food that we have only at certain times of the year, we eat whatever we want when we want to. America may have adopted its culture from many others around the world, but in the end it's still American culture. I also have another culture, my school culture. I count my school's international exploration as a culture, and I'm really proud of it.

Culture to me means a way of life. I come from a family with Filipino, French and Spanish backgrounds. My family is big, and we love spending time together, just like mot families. My family's culture is important to us, and it shows mostly through food. My family love cooking traditional Filipino and Spanish food. My family is also big on dance and music. Ask any other person who has the same background, parties for us are never boring.

It makes up what holidays you celebrate, what you eat, how you dress, and even what music you listen to. My nationality is Japanese, Chinese, and Puerto Rican. Culture is a very big part of each and every one of us. It determines where we come from and our family's past. Culture should always be held onto and passed on down to every generation. My culture is all greek and my religion is Greek Orthodox Christianity. I celebrate almost all Greek holidays, and go to church often. I speak and write the greek language and have been to Greece 3 times. Obviously, my culture is very important to my family and me. We definitely do a good job at preserving it.

1 To me, culture is a way of living. Culture is somebody's beliefs and traditions. I am full Puerto Rican, but some people tell me that I look Irish or Italian. I celebrate my heritage by spending time with my family. We usually play spanish music, and have a lot of spanish food. We celebrate the Puerto Rican parade, and I am trying to speak fluent spanish, although it's not really working at the moment.

Culture mostly is a way of life. To me culture is customs, traditions, and religion. I am Pakistani, and my culture is unique in the fact that most of its traditions or customs come through religion. Basically our religion is a way of our life. Some holidays that i celebrate are Eid. This holiday is very important to us because it is important for muslims to celebrate. Other hen that we fats during Ramadan which goes on for a month. This is my culture and it is important to my family because it brings us closer.

What culture means to me is the characteristics a country has. The characteristics are holidays, architecture, music, sports, etc. An example of American culture is Thanksgiving. My family's culture is Italian. Some Italian culture's are eating pasta, and also spending Sunday with your family. Every sunday my entire family goes to my grandpa's house. It is me, my mom, my dad, 5 aunts, 6 uncles, 7 cousins, and grandpa. It is really fun to see your family every week. I think everyone should do that. Italian culture also means having big parties, spending time with your family.

After reviewing another student's post of their culture i learned that Polish people celebrate Christmas Eve more than Christmas Day. Christmas Eve is more important to them, the do everything that ost people would d on Christmas Day on Christmas Eve. Polish people also celebrate name day, and Birthday's. Name day is when you celebrate an important person's name that is the same as yours. That is what i learned about Polish culture.

1)For me, culture is a way groups of people express themselves. All people are different, so they do different things as groups. The differences between groups is culture.

Culture means alot to me, because my family is really big on culture. i'm mixed with more than one thing so i try to do things that connect with all of my nationalities. mostly i follow my caribbean culture becasue big part of my family is from the caribbean. we eat different foods than other cultures. we dont have a special language we just talk with an accent that not many people can understand.
