A Good Dad. A young man's digital story about a dramatic event in his life. He created this story in the context as part of his therapy. It is low tech but has high impact. It was created in only 12 hours. It is a testimony to the fact that glitz and polish are not necessary to produce narrative that is personally meaningful that resonates with others.

As I watched the video "A Good Dad" I saw many exceptional areas, and areas for improvement. As the video started There was not title. A title usually opens up a story so they should of added one. Throughout the video the persons voice is easily heard, but isn't backed up by background music. The movie seemed boring, though his message was well expressed in the video. The videos picture qualities are both eceptional, and need improvement. Some pictures were easily seen, but others were blrry. Overall the video was good with giving out the message, but lacked picture quality, and the ability to make your video come to life.

When I watched the video "A Good Dad" I saw many Pros and Cons. The Cons of the video is that there was no writing in the video. There was also no background music to set the emotion that he wanted, he tried to show that he was hurting and he was trying to make a depressing video. He also sounded like a robot, which made it sound boring and it lost the audiences attention. The pros was that he told the story clearly even though there was some stuttering. Also the pictures had nothing to do with the story. He lacked a lot in the video, he did not show a lot of effort in his work, he could have done better.

As i was watching "A Good Dad" I realized many mistakes such as he didn't go over his script before reading it on camera. He, also, didn't tell us who was saying what. The pictures weren't very descriptive and there was very little of them. He had extremely long pauses in which you could hear him swallow and put something down. He had no music to make the video more interesting. His tone didn't invoke any emotion. Over all this video was very poor and it looks like the boy didn't put any effort into it.

As i watched " a good dad " i noticed many things that need to be improved. As the boy was speaking, i couldn't make out half of his words. There was no writing to help me understand his story a little better nor was their music to add more of a good edge to it. As he was trying to speak, you heard him stumble through words and take pauses to put things down. I think this video was very poor and needs a lot more work next time.

Watching the video, "A Good Dad" the cons seemed to outweigh the pros. The narator's voice was very low.He seemed like he had a good idea for a video but it fell through, due to lack of editing it.His images were very unclear. No background music was added, so it made the video even more dull. Since his narating voice was low, there was also no captions to even help understand what he was saying.Over-all he seemed had a good idea for a video, it just wasn't put together correctly.

Watching the video "A Good Dad" the speaker was very boring at his story telling. His pace wasnt good and he was repeating words over and over again. His stroy didnt make a lot of sense because he goes from talking about his father beating him to a wedding and back to his father again.

As I was watching the video "A Good Dad" I had noticed that he was unclear, and had stuttered a lot (although he probably couldn't help it much), it seemed as though he had a great idea for making the video but it wasn't very well put together. He didn't specify who was talking to his future self with something like "He said" "And then I replied saying" which it may make it hard for a person to follow who was saying what. He could of made this video much better given the time that he made this in.

As i was watching the video "A Good Dad" , I realized that the tone of the boys voice was very slow. There were very long pauses before he started his next sentence. I think his purpose for making this video was good because he wanted to describe something personal, but the way he put the video together was not very good. He does not keep the viewers attention.

The video "A Good Dad" seemed to have both cons and pros to the speakers message. The pros of this video is that the speaker had a powerful message that he wanted his audience to be aware of, and he used a wide variety of pictures to match what he was saying. However, the video has many cons because he lacked great communicational skills that is the key to keeping an audience intrigued with the video. Throughout the video, the speaker was constantly stuttering, making me confused as to what his actual message was. Because of this the pacing was so sluggish, that it became excruciating to watch. Not only did he repeat the same words and phrases, he was monotone, making it even more dreadful. To make his message as powerful as it should've been, he should improve on his communication and pacing to keep the attention of his audience.

While watching the video, "A Good Dad" I noticed that there was multiple mistakes. One of these mistakes was the narrators voice. The narrator stuttered a lot and it ruined the pacing of the video. Because of this, I couldn't focus on anything else but the narrator's tone and sluggish pacing. I didn't understand what the message was because I didn't quite understand him. Another con was the dialogue confusion. In the digital story he impersonates two dads, but he did not make this clear. Despite this mistake, the concept of the video was good, it just wasn't put together well.

While watching "The Good Dad", there were a few pros and cons about it. The pros was that he had a good dramatic question about why he couldn't be seen from his son and that he had a good amount of pacing with the words and pictures. The cons was that the narrator stuttered and it was obvious that he read off from the script.

"The Good Dad" is a very emotional piece. The point of view of the student who made this video was very clear about what a good dad is. while watching this video i couldnt help but notice a few mistakes. One of the mistakes the student made was note practicing his script. The out come was obvious, he studdered over everyline which made it hard to understand. On the flip side the student audio was set right, it wasnt too high or too low. The student used a number of photos to establish a emotional setting. He also used music to help set the tone of the story towards the end. The pacing of the video was okay, he kept the same flow from the begining of the video. The student voice also played a big rule in the video, you could hear the sadness and distress in his voice. Overall this was a good video but the only thing that this student needs to work on is practicing his script and speak clearly so his viewers can comprehend.

As I was watching "A Good Dad," I saw that there were many mistakes in his digital story. It was hard to understand him most of the time. His voice was too low, and he was stuttering. It sounded to me like he was mumbling. It was very noticeable that he was reading off a script and hadn't rehearsed it. But overall, he had a well written story line that just wasn't put together properly.

While watching "A Good Dad" I found myself having to rewind it often so I could actually understand what he was saying. He stuttered a lot which shows he did not go over his script, because it was clear he was reading off of something.I found there were more mistakes made, then there were expetional parts of this story. Overall I thought that it was a good story, it was sad but he made a strong emotional connection through his story because this was clearly a topic he was familar with.

As I watched "A Good Dad", I noticed some exceptional areas of the video and many areas for improvement in this video. An exceptional area of this was the young man got his point across as well as good pacing. Some areas of improvement that could have been made was the speech, his speech was very unclear and repetitive, also he could also added background music to add more emotion to the video.

While watching "A Good Dad", I came across both positive and negative aspects. I can tell that the subject was a very emotional topic for him to discuss. He used pictures relevant to the story he shared. Though the narrator got his point across, it was difficult to follow along with the video at certain points due to his lack of speaking skills. His voice was very low and it was obvious he didn't rehearse as much as needed. There was no music to set the mood of the video until the end. He did cite some of his sources which is a positive. Overall, I thought he brought a strong message but the video could have been more appealing.

In the digital story "A Good Dad", a powerful message is sent to the viewers, with the usage of a good script. However, this great message was hard to understand due to the narrator's constant stuttering and unclear voice. At times it was hard to understand him, and the pacing was quite slow. The pictures matched up well with the story. The emotional content was suspenseful and sad. Overall, most aspects of the video were strong except for the narration.

In the video "A Good Dad" an emotional theme was presented. The story board shows a strong emotional flow but the story map was not flowing as well. This video showed that the narrator did have a lot to speak about. Even though his message was clear due to speaking really slow and stuttered a little, it made it harder to understand. The narrarator should of practiced more but still did a good job.

While I was watching "A Good Dad," It was hard understanding what he was trying to say because his voice was not so clear.I feel that he should've put background music to create the mood and more dramatic. The pacing is alright because the pictures relate to what he is saying but at times, he goes really fast then really slow. I think he should've rehearsed the script a few times before making this video because he kept messing up/stuttering. Overall, he should've rehearsed so no mistakes were done but the effort was there.

The video "A Good Dad" does have a some areas of improvement. It didnt sound like he rehearsed what he was saying, he studdered a few times, breathed in the microphone, and sounded like he was mumbling a few times. the transition from picture to picture was good, but some were blury. there was also no background music; to me when there is no background music/noise, what the person was talking about is serious. i didnt really hear any emotion in his voice either. but this was a good video with the story he had put in it and with only 12 hours of work.

In this video "A Good Dad". The kid talked about an emotional event that happen in his life. The way the kid said his story made it very easy to visualize what was going on. He made it difficult to understand what he was saying at times. But overall the boy did a good job sending the message as to what he his trying to say. The kid kept the mood of the story by constantly sounding depressed.

As I watched the video "A Good Dad" , I couldn't help but notice that the narrator seemed to have not practiced his script before he decided to begin filming. I feel that he could improve his video by adding captions, practicing his script, having more pictures to help put you in his position. I didn't get the feeling of being in his position do to the fact that his mood/tone was consistent through out the digital story and didn't change with certain events thats may have impacted his life in a negative or a positive way. I believe he should have included background music to add a sense of emotion. Overall i feel this video was not a good video and could use a lot of work, but i also feel that since it was created in 12 hours its exceptionally good.

After watching, "A Good Dad" i saw great emtion filled within the video. This must've been boy scard from the experiences his father left him with. He took his life and showed himslef and the audience what a good dad would do. I liked how he waited towards the end to put his soundtrack on becuase it wouldnt have fit during the dialouge. The dialouge was unique and interesting. The pacing was fine, and the pictures matched with his story line. He used both storymapping and boarding to complete his video but he could've reheasred the script a little bit more.

While I watched "A Good Dad" I noticed many things. Some being bad and some being good. First, what needs improvement is the voice and pacing. The voice sounds very choppy, low, and robotic. It doesn't seem to flow very well. The pacing is is slow and doesn't seem to fit the time because the video can be shorter with out the frequent pausing and cutting out of audio.
Now the good things about the video was that it had various types of media in the video ex. drawn art, pictures and other images. The person had a good story mapping and board from the look of the organization of the video.

While watching the video, "A Good Dad", there was a bit of both good and bad moments.

The narration wasn't that good, but the powerful message that the boy had to convey in the video out weighed the narration. The quality wasn't that good, but putting myself in his shoes isn't something I'd like to do. It was moving, but still could've been better.

As I watched the video "A Good Dad", I noticed many things. I noticed exceptional points in the video, he did his best to try to put his heart out but he wasn't able to achieve that goal. It was a very touching digital story but the errors that occurred confused me. There are some areas that he needs to improve on.His microphone was too close so it was very hard to understand him, I needed to repeat it and listen closer to understand. He was reading off a script that he couldn't read that well, his voice seemed like he was lost. One more area for improvement is the quality of the pictures.

While watching "A Good Dad" I noticed many aspects that could've been better. For one, the narration was hard to understand; I found I had to turn the volume of my computer all the way up to understand, and sometimes I had to rewind. In addition, the pace was rather slow, as the author had the pictures up for way too long. However, the most outstanding aspect of the video was the emotions that the narrator gave off, and I found it sad. I can tell that he feels very strong about this topic.

The Video "A Good Dad" is very different. Usually when someone's voice is stuttered or repetitive it is considered bad but in this case it is good because it portrays and brings out the person's emotion and it makes the viewer more aware of how the author is feeling. The Point of View in this video is non existent, the author is confused as to why the things in his life are happening and he is using the video as a therapeutic medium to view his emotions and think of why the things had happen. There was no music in the video until the end but the music really made the mood of the video even stronger. the pacing of the video was a little slow but that also helped in the mood for the video. Writing this reflection made me realize that all of the components in this video adds on to the emotions, the mood and the tone of the video.

As I watched the video "A Good Dad" I recongized many positive points, and also some that need improvement. Until the end of the video I was very confused about the story, and I was even more confused because of his unclear voice, and stuttering. I found the pictures to be too simple for such a touching story. The emotional content in the video was strong, because of the way the narrator connected to his audience. Overall, I found the video to have a strong message, but needed much improvement in the voice, narration and pictures.

While i was watching the video "A Good Dad" i had a hard time understanding what the boy was trying to say due to his stuttering. After watching it a second time i understood the emotional content. Overall the digital story was fairly poor. There was no background music or subtitles to go with his video. The video had a great concept and was very deep but he needs to work on his narration.

The video, "A Good Dad," had many positive aspects as well as areas that need improvement. The strongest part of this video was the pacing. There were times when it was too slow; but overall, it was decent. The Creator should have practiced his lines more, and tried to make the audio flow a little better. At first I couldn't understand what the story was about; but in the end, the Creator cleared up all my questions. Some might not like this strategy, but it helped to keep my attention. Overall, it was a well made video.

In "A Good Dad" there were quite a bit of cons in the video. The fathers monotone voice gets annoying pretty fast. He stumbles a lot on his words and he sometimes speeds up and slows down abruptly. The story however was interesting enough to have me listen though half of it.

I've watched many videos throughout my life that range from being absolute masterpieces to complete failures. "A Good Dad" is one of those videos that I believe is more on the masterpiece side of this spectrum. While the Creator's Voice is a bit slow, his Point of View, Emotional Content, and Dramatic Question make up for it. His POV is of a bad father who goes through a metamorphosis, realizing that his drinking will not only send him to his grave one day, but will also cause him to lose his family. The Emotional Content he has in his video is shown when he realizes that he could disappear from his only son's life and miss important family moments; like his son's wedding. Finally, what made me watch this video, despite the low technology that was used, was the Dramatic Question; which made me think "how is this going to end for this guy?". Not only is the POV, Emotional Content, and Dramatic Question great, the Economy and Pacing(not counting his voice's pacing)were great as well. He managed to tell his story in a well organized manner, he fit the story into 3 minutes(the average length of a video), and as he told his story he used images to give the viewers a good visual of what was going on. I've seen a lot of videos that have special effects to try making the video "better", but, while "A Good Dad" is not the greatest video I've ever watched, it does prove that sometimes "less is more".

In the video " A Good Dad" I've noticed some flaws that the boy was having. He had trouble getting the words out. I don't think he had a script in front of him. The pictures weren't that descriptive but I knew where he was going with them and he didn't have a soundtrack.

When I watched the video "Good Dad" I realized that there was many issues going on during the video. There was a lot of problem but I think the main concern was the pacing, the narrator should have went over the lines for the story a little bit more before the final edit of the video was published. I had a problem understanding what the narrator said

While watching " A Good Dad" I have notcied a lot of mishaps. It was a very good video content wise, however it was a bit understandable. He stuttered a lot and there were some computer noises in the backround. It seemed as if he just through the video together last minute. The overall key on how the father was suppose to be angry and turned out to overcome his guilt is a great idea. I was lost in the beginning were he stated he was a angry dad, yet his tone was not angry. It would be a very well done story if it was maped out and story boarded.

As I was watching " A Good Dad", I noticed many more cons than I did pros. He was very unclear and hard to understand as he read off a paper. He should have been well prepared to record his story. The story overall had a good meaning and that was clear towards the end, but the video would have been much better with better quality. He should have played music, had a couple of words and should have spoken clearly. A little more effort would make this video meaningful.

As I was watching the video, "A Good Dad" I noticed that the video had more negatives than positives. The boy making the video was very unclear and seemed unprepared to use dialogue in the story. He also had trouble with pictures and cropping them out to better fit the screen. He did include a title page which helped out the video. Even though they were hard to understand, his words had a lot of meaning behind them. His story truly portrayed his emotion but he had a hard time exerting his emotion through technology, which is something he needs to work on to be a digital storyteller.

As I was watching "The Good Dad" I clearly saw the pros and cons of the story. although the story exposed a powerful meaning, the quality could have been better. I had trouble connecting the pictures to his voice. There could have been words or more information throughout the video. Also, there was no title when the video began. As his story was very powerful, his voice revealed his true emotions.

As i watched the digital story "A Good Dad" i noticed many errors. Most of the script is not well thought out or re-read. It was very slow paced and did not hold the viewers attention. The quality with sound and voice could have been better and it also lacked a title opening image. It was confusing and although it held a deeper meaning for the creator it wasn't as emotional for the viewer because of the way the video was put together.

While watching the digital story "A Good Dad" i noticed many mistakes. The quality of video and sound would have been much better if he made it easier to connect the pictures with what he was saying. Also he was very hard to understand what he was saying, which could mean that he most likely did not read the script before doing his digital story. Even though there were issues with his digital story there was still a way to connect to the message of it.

while watching "a Good Dad" I noticed areas of improvment and areas of excellence. although, it was hard to understand the voice of the person because they were speaking to low and not very clearly, they had a good central message. What they were saying had good emotional content. the pictures represented his story well but were on the screen for too long. the pacing was to slow in voice and in image. the quality of voice and images could also have been better. the story needed music and more images. the person could have put captions in which would have made it easier for the viewer to understand the video.

The video "A Good Dad" had many exceptional areas, but also some that needed some improvement. There was not any title screen in this movie. The movies Emotional Content was very exceptional cause they really brought you into their life story and it was depressing. The pictures worked very well expressing their emotion. The pacing was very good, although he showed no emotion. It was boring to listen to, and I lost my attention. The sound quality could have been a little better, but for the most part, this video got the point across and it's deeper meaning.

I found myself having to replay parts of the video because his stuttering made it hard to follow along. The video also lacked details, such as a title page, image timing and voice pacing. However, the speaker's emotional content of the story was a positive. The audience is able to see that this topic is something the speaker can relate to. The film, "A Good Dad" displayed numerous exceptional strengths and weaknesses which can most certainly be improved to produce a much greater production. One of the film's weaknesses was the speaker's lack in voice projection which did not quite set the overall tone. Likewise, the pacing of the film which includes its speed and tempo was a little off. The film did not include a title, a soundtrack, and nor did it include transitions to implement the visuals shown. Although despite its weaknesses, the speaker's point of view and emotional content surely displayed the film's exceptional strength. It clearly depicted the speaker's perspective and inner feelings through its images and its script. In all, the film can be improved through some minor adjustments to enhance its powerful emotional content.

I feel that the film "A Good Dad" was a very moving media piece, but it had some areas that did require improvement. Perhaps that most apparent would be the lack of a title. A title is necessary and can be found in almost all video projects and movies. I also felt that the narrator's voice was too quiet. He should speak up and put more effort into his voice. The lack of visual transitions was also an eyesore of sorts. Without transitions, the video doesn't seem to flow from one scene to another as smoothly as it should. The lack of background music also created an awkward lack of ambiance that failed to keep me interested in what was going on on screen. Although there were many areas for improvement, the video was very moving and I found it to be a very emotional piece.

The exceptional parts was voicing his message that he wanted to convey to the audience and using many pictures to go along with what he was saying. However, there were multiple long pauses and stuttering that made me confuse on what he was saying and what his message was, making it hard to pay attention to the video. Also, there was a lot of repeated phrases that made it harder to pay attention to the video. Overall, his story was emotional even though this video could've used some improvements.

I have noticed that the tone of the voice was slow only because of his pauses before he went on with what he would have said next. His purpose for making this video was a good itention because he wanted to describe something personal, but how he put the video together was not very proper. Watching "A Good Dad" i felt like as he told his story you definetly felt his emotion even through all of the constant stuttering, athough he tried Not all of images related well with his story and without there being any words to go along with images, made his digital story more difficult to understand. Also it didnt really sound Like he scripted his story well at all it almost seems like he was reading a new book for the first time. And trying to understand the story himself while he was telling it to his audience. at the end of his video his choice of music was really irrelavent and since he didnt use music in the beginning of his video i dont think he should of used it all. overall i was a little sadden by his story although he could have set the mood more to keep the listeners interest. But it seem like he will grow up to be a great dad one day !!

While watching the video "A Good Dad". I could help but give negative and positive feed back. The story was powerful and meaningful to the author. the visuals on the other hand werent really appealing or keep me focused. i found myself losing interest quick and have to refoucus. i felt he could have use more visuals and better vocals and thought out what he was going to say. He could have also put more work into it instead of just those 12 hours.

While watching the digital story, "A Good Dad" i noticed many pros and cons. Although he made a very good point and did a great job of adding emotion to his story, he could've improved in many areas. His script was a little sketchy and he sounded like he didn't have it rehearsed too much. But he made his point clear and used good pictures to help better tell his story.

After Watching "A Good Dad" ; I honestly didn't understand what he was trying to say. he spoke terribly. It was clear he was reading off a paper, or did not have a great understanding of the english language. After watching it a second time I understood the story and point of view, and a very touching story it was, but If it was being graded by a teacher , He'd fail.
